Solution 25790: Calculating Net Future Value (NFV) Using the BA II PLUS ™ Calculator.
Is it possible to compute Net Future Value on the BAII PLUSs? How can I compute the Net Future Value on the BA II Plus?
There is no built in function to directly calculate Net Future Value (NFV) on the BAII Plus. If you would like to have the ability to directly calculate NFV from the calculator you can purchase the BAII PLUS PROFESSIONAL which will directly calculate the value from the NPV worksheet. There is a way to calculate NFV using the Time Value of Money worksheet after you have calculated for your NPV using the example below:
With an interest rate of 20% calculate the NFV using the following cash flows:
Initial Cash flow - $7000
Year 1: $3000
Year 2: $4000
Year 3: $5000
Year 4: $5000
Year 5: $5000
Year 6: $5000
1) Press the [CF] key to go to the Cash Flow Worksheet.
