Why does TI-Connect 4.0 for Mac® not install on OS X 10.5 and below?
TI-Connect 4.0 for Mac® will not install on OS X 10.5 and below because the software has been updated which makes it incompatible with older versions of Mac® OS X operating systems.
If you attempt to install TI-Connect 4.0 for Mac® on OS X 10.5 and below you will receive the error message listed below:
If you have version OS X 10.5 or below you can download and install the attached TI-Connect 1.8 to allow connectivity with most TI-Graphing Calculators.
Please Note: TI-Connect 1.8 cannot communicate with the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition.
• Download the attached "TI_Connect_18.dmg" at the top right of the webpage.
• Once downloaded [Click] the DMG file and follow the dialogs to install the software.
