Solution 34657: Converting an Angle from Radian to Degree on the TI-83 Plus and TI-84 Plus Family of Graphing Calculators.

How do I convert an angle from radian to degree on the TI-83 Plus and TI-84 Plus family of graphing calculators? 

In order to convert an angle from radian to degree, please follow the steps listed below:

1) Press [MODE] [↓] [↓] [→] [ENTER] to change the mode setting to degree.



2) Press [2nd] [Quit] [Clear] to quit out the mode screen and clear the home screen.



3) Press [2] [2nd] [π] [2nd] [ANGLE] [3] [Enter] this will convert the 2π to 360 degrees.



To convert from degrees to radian, follow the steps below:

1) Press [MODE] [↓] [↓] [ENTER] to change the mode setting to radian.



2) Press [2nd] [Quit] [Clear] to quit out the mode screen and clear the home screen.



3) Press [3] [6] [0] [2nd] [ANGLE] [1] [Enter] this will convert the 360 degrees to an approximation of 2π 6.283185307.
