Solution 38335: Transferring Calculator Files to the TI-SmartView™ CE Emulator Software for the TI-84 Plus Family.
How do you transfer calculator files to the TI-SmartView CE Emulator Software for the TI-84 Plus Family?
You can transfer calculator files to the TI-SmartView CE Emulator Software for the TI-84 Plus Family using the steps listed below:
1) With the TI-SmartView CE software open click the [Document Icon] on the left hand side of the software underneath the [Calculator Icon]. This will change the software to Emulator Explorer Workspace View
2) Next click [Actions] [Add Files From Computer].
3) In the dialog that appears browse to then select the [Calculator File] you wish to send the the emulator then click [Open].
4) Next click [Send] on the dialog that appears and the file will begin transferring, wait for the [Receiving File] dialog to disappear.
5) Last click the [Calculator Icon] icon on the left hand side of the software above the [Magnifying Glass] icon to return to Calculator Emulator Workspace.
Please Note: If the file already exists on the calculator you will receive a dialog stating "Something is already there" choose [REPLACE] to update the file with the one you are transferring or [CANCEL] to not transfer the file.
You can also save a file you created within the TI-SmartView CE Emulator Software for the TI-84 Plus Family using the steps listed below:
1) With the TI-SmartView CE software open click the [Magnifying Glass] icon on the left hand side of the software underneath the [Calculator Icon]. This will change the software to Emulator Explorer Workspace View
2) Next click [Actions] [Send to Computer].
3) In the dialog that appears browse to the location you wish to save the [Calculator File] you wish to send the the emulator then click [Save]. The file will now be located in the location you chose.
5) Last click the [Calculator Icon] icon on the left hand side of the software above the [Magnifying Glass] icon to return to Calculator Emulator Workspace.
